Spectacular Chicken

Ingredients for Chicken
3 cups of spelt flour
1tbsp Ground pepper
1tbsp Mixed herbs
1tbsp Garlic powder
1tbsp Onion powder
1/2 tbsp of Cumin
1/2 tbsp Paprika (smoked is best)
(Optional) 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
(Optional) Chilli powder (if you like a kick)
4 Chicken Breast cut into chunks
2 Large eggs
2 tbsp of Milk

Ingredients Dip
1/2 cup of Ranch dressing
1/4 to 1/2 a cup of Buffalo sauce (Preferably Frank’s)


Ingredients for Homemade ketchup
1 jar of sundried tomatoes
1 tbsp of White sugar (granulated)
1 tsp of Cayenne or Chipotle seasoning
1/2 tsp of Onion salt
(Optional) 1/4 tsp of Chilli flakes
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp of pepper
2 tbsp of Garlic pepper
2 tbsp of lime or lemon juice
1 tbsp of olive oil

Method Chicken

  1. In one bowl add the dry ingredients. In the other bowl add your eggs and of milk.
  2. Season the egg mixture with a tiny bit of salt and pepper
  3. Mixed everything in both bowls seperately then add your chicken chunks to the egg mixture.
  4. Once they have sat there for a moment put the chicken in the dry ingredients and throughly coat them.

You can either air fry, deep fry it or bake the chicken. But ideally you want do a mix: Bake on 180 for 20 minutes and then crisp them for about a three minutes on the stove.

Method Dip

  1. Mix ingredients together
  2. Serve

Method for Homemade ketchup

  1. Put olive oil in a sauce pan on a medium heat. Add the herbs, sugar, tomatoes and lemon/lime juice.
  2. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool down then put into a blender or use a emulsion blending to smooth it out.
