Chinese leaf x1 medium size
Fresh red chilli x1
Garlic crushed x2/3 cloves
(Optional) Cantonese sausage x1
Chinese vinegar x2/3 tbsp
Light soy sauce x1 tbsp
(Optional) Dark soy sauce x1 tsp
Sugar (a pinch)

  1. Cut the root off the Chinese leaf and cut the leaves into large pieces. Thinly slice the sausage (you can also use thinly sliced pork as replacement).
  2. Add a drizzle of oil in a hot wok. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, chilli and sausage, fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the Chinese leaf and stir fry until just soft.
  4. Add the vinegar, soy sauce and sugar. Cover and let it cook for a few minutes let the flavour go in.
  5. Check the taste and add a little salt if it needs.
